Tom Finnegan – Architect
Tom completed the 2007, Glenn Murcutt, Master class in Australia. He then graduated as a mature student from Waterford Institute of Technology, School of Architecture in 2010. Glenn Murcutt is an internationally recognized, Pritzker Prize winning, architect who specializes in a sustainable approach to residential projects that are strongly influenced by their surroundings.
Tom worked with Waterford City Council on a number of projects in the Viking Tringle area in Waterford city, including the design of the Fumbally Exchange building, prior to the founding of Finnegan Architects in 2013.
The practice aims to combine an interest in sustainable energy efficient design and conservation, with a personalized customer orientated approach that aims to make architecture and design more easily understandable and accessible.
ROJO-Studio is an architecture & design studio, run by award winning architects: Agnieszka & Bartosz Rojowski. They have over 12 years experience in both Irish and International markets.
Their recent portfolio includes several award winning Medieval Museum in Waterford, The Menapia Building which the home of The House of Waterford Crystal Visitor Centre and many other projects designed while working within Waterford City Council.
Rojo-Studio offers a full architectural design service which includes custom designs for residential housing as well as cultural and commercial projects.

John Gavin – Design Consultant
John Gavin is an award winning creative director. After relocating to Ireland from London, he launched his design consultancy TrueOutput. He works with international clients, across multiple sectors, on brand-identity, print, environments and digital media projects. Some of the clients to benefit from his work have been Adidas, BBC, Radisson, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz and Microsoft.
He always looks for less ordinary ways to help businesses and organisation’s stand proudly apart from their competitors. He is passionate about the positive effect of brand identity and design thinking can play on business effectiveness, inside and out.

After working in the Great Outdoors shop in Dublin, Seamus Doyle moved to Sydney, Australia in 2000 and worked as a personal trainer and group fitness trainer for 5 years with the leading outdoor fitness community, Evolution to Wellbeing. He returned to Waterford in 2006 and set up Balance fitness. Balance fitness started in a small city centre studio and then moved to their ‘Pop-up’ studio in the former Chartbusters premises in the Ardkeen Shopping Centre.
Balance fitness is now located at the Ardkeen Community Rooms on the Dunmore road in Waterford and specialises in fitness classes, personal training, running groups and fitness programmes for teams and clubs. Balance fitness also promotes The Island Run, a unique 5km running event on the island at Waterford Castle, which takes place in August every year. Fumbally member John Gavin of TrueOutput does the design work for Balance fitness and after John told Seamus that Fumbally was the place to be for the ‘office’ work, and crucially had good coffee, the deal was done.

Born in Poland and now living and working in Ireland, Tomasz Usyk is known internationally as a sports illustrator and a graphic designer whose original style captures the essence of movement. Tom’s ability to convey explosive dynamics in his works comes from being a sportsman himself – he holds an MA degree in Physical Education and Coaching from Józef Piłsudski University of Physical Education in Warsaw, Poland. He studied further to obtain an BA degree in Design (Visual Communications) from Waterford Institute of Technology, Ireland. Tom’s impressive portfolio reflects that his paired passions fuel creativity.
