Brian Deady is becoming a big part of the Irish music scene and he’s coming to Central Arts this March. The long awaited second album “Non-Fiction” from Brian Deady has been met with wide critical acclaim from the likes of The Sunday Times calling it ‘Bare-Knuckle and Remarkable’ and The Irish Times stating ‘Ireland has a new soul star in it’s midst’ . His single first single “A Darkness” was featured by Nialler9, The Irish Times and the prestigious UK blog Record Of The Day. Next single taken from the new album is “Clap Both My Hands” and was previewed by Skream on BBC Radio 1 which featured as the opening theme song for the 2015 RTE Sports Awards. Not to mention scoring a No.1 in The Irish R&B singles Charts and Top 20 in the overall Album Charts .
This record follows up his acclaimed “Interview” album. It was with that collection he found huge support at KCRW in Los Angeles and has shared the stage live with De La Soul, Janelle Monae, Candi Staton and Chic. Picking up a glowing testimonial from Nile Rodgers along the way. Here is an artist you can believe in and connect with. In a world where authenticity counts for so much, you’ll hear that Brian means and feels every word.
