The Epic Tour of the Viking Triangle is a theatrical comedy whirlwind journey with props, costumes, singing, dancing and plenty of craic!. And the message is to bring the kids, bring your granny, bring everybody – because it’s suitable for families of all ages to enjoy. The Epic Tour is written by Waterford writer Liam Meagher, who many people will know through his work with Little Red Kettle over many years. The Epic Tour has been supported by Failte Ireland under the ‘Sharing our Stories’ initiative.
The Sharing our Stories scheme has enabled Waterford Treasures to really animate the wonderful stories of The Viking Triangle and allows everyone to enjoy Waterford’s fascinating history in an interactive and fun way. The tour itself is led by one of the team of re-enactors who are employed by Waterford Treasures to bring history to life with costumed tours every day in the Bishop’s Palace and the Medieval Museum. The Epic Tour is a very welcome family friendly addition to the tourism offering in Waterford.
