fair-trade-logoIn celebration of Fairtrade Fortnight 2015 and the 10th Anniversary of Waterford as a Fairtrade City, the Waterford One World Centre and Fairtrade Mark Ireland are delighted to welcome Stephen Best, a small banana co-op owner from the Windward Islands.  Join us in the Waterford City Library, Lady Lane on Thursday 5th March at 11.am – 2pm, to view a wonderful Fairtrade exhibition from our Design students in W.I.T. along with a Fairtrade Cotton Exhibition, and sample some Fairtrade products with a cup of Fairtrade tea or coffee.

This year’s Fairtrade Fortnight is the ‘Power of You’ campaign with a particular focus on the Power in Your Pocket. Events will be taking place throughout Ireland and the world, and Waterford is no exception. If you need further information and want to get involved in our events or campaigns please contact Lucy at 051 873064 or lucy@waterfordoneworldcentre.com. €Free
