‘Explore Waterford by Bicycle’ is a 2 hour City Tour laid out on a safe and easy route exploring some of the hidden treasures that Waterford has to offer and all within easy reach on a bicycle. WCT caters for individuals, families, students and/or small groups. What makes WCT’s tour unique is that you decide what you want to see and do at a pace that suits you.
An early morning tour starting at dawn (with the option of an early morning swim); Historical Sites on the City Tour include; the Old City Walls; the 150 year old People’s Park; the Quays with all its history of the River Suir; Bilberry Rock, home to a unique herd of wild goats who first arrived in Waterford in the 17th Century with the French Huguenots; Ballybricken, where the famous farmer’s market ‘Fairs’ of the past were held; the Edmund Rice International Heritage Centre …. and much more.
