The Reg is back. Waterford’s most iconic bar, which has been the birthplace of many great memories, is reopening to create many more. Located in the centre of Waterford City’s Viking Triangle, The Reg has been recreated as part of a €2 million investment that will take in the old premises that existed at the location (complete with City Walls) and also two adjoining houses in Baily’s New Street.
The Reg features a restaurant called “Catch 22”, which will have a strong emphasis on locally sourced seafood; “Noc Noc”, a late night venue for the over 23s age group offering offer jazz nights, big bands, comedy, drama and the retro style music that will bring us back to our dancing days. The Reg also offers a whiskey bar and a craft beer bar that will bring you on a journey through some of the world’s finest artisan crafted drinks.
The Reg will be guided by the spirit of the past – a new entertainment venue for the oldest city in Ireland.
